2024 LA Rams Duo Insert and Gap Kick Run Schemes

The Rams are big on running duo insert in 2024. They have done a great job with this scheme and will often do it with a WR coming inside to block a SS on 11 Personnel with the TE on the line of scrimmage. They do a great job with it and get a great angle with their WR on the SS and the TE will kick out on this play.

vs Even Front

The beauty of this is they get angles with the TE blocking out on the DE and the H block folding back inside.

It all starts with the two double teams, with the Left Guard and Left Tackle as well as the center and RG.

2 double teams

You see the OL with eyes on the LB and they do a great job getting to the wnd level.

Vs Odd Front

They run the insert with the WR coming from the other side. They come across with the WR and he leads up in the hole. The TE blocks out on the OLB in a 3-4.

The Nose guard goes A gap so they end up with 3 on 2 with the center and guard taking the movement. They double to the offside LB.

The Center gets off on the LB and the WR insets on the SS.
