Boston College Offensive Analysis vs. Florida State

This article looks at the way Boston College attacked Florida State both in the run game and pass game in their week 1 matchup. Boston College was very efficient totalling 369 yards.

They were great in the run game 52 carries for 263 yards. They did it mostly with some good old fashing gap schemes in the run game. They also did enough damage in the passing game, going 10-16 completing mesh often when they needed it, a few boots and well designed play actions and a nice screen. They masked some of their passing deficiencies by scheming up the passing game nicely.
