Jets Panthers:Top 10 Highlights from the Jets Defensive Line Dominance

Even though its the preseason, The Jets put on a dominating performance. It was a great played game by their defensive line. They did it without Lawson, Q Williams, Franklin -Myers and Woods not in the lineup. They really have some great young talent!

They have some great weapons and outstanding depth right now. Here are some of the clips from the game.

#1 Jermaine Johnson and Quinton Jefferson game

Excellent pass rush game by Jermaine Johnson and Quinton Jefferson. Well executed and timed and Johnson gets a hit on the qb.

#2 Huff and Thomas

They then run a game to the other side. Huff and Thomas do a great job on it and they get the sack on the qb. Thomas tries to set the pick but stays active and gets after the qb.

#3 Johnson in the run game

This is my favorite clip as Jermaine Johnson shows he can play the run. He plays crease technique against the h and the te and beats both blocks. Also a great job with the penetration by Q Jefferson as well.

#4 Jets DT Solomon Thomas

Solomon decides to chop the hands of the guard and then puts on a great rip move and totally beats the guard. He gets great leverage and finishes the move which leads to the sack.

#5 Will Mcdonald gets his first sack. He uses a swipe rip move to get the sack.

#6 Huff and Johnson on the sack

This spin move is even better by Johnson. Head and shoulder fake, chop the hands and spin inside. That’s a nasty move! Huff going hard on the other side!

#7 Will McDonald is a problem

Will has a great spin move and is very quick and explosive. Here he flushes Corral out of the pocket. Is going to be a force for the Jets.

The next 2 players I like a lot but we will see what happens. They are Bruce Hector

#8 Bruce Hector on the strip sack.

An excellent job by Hector on the strip sack. As often happens the guy going 1st with violence on the game gets the sack. Here he works with the other young gun, Isaiah Mack who also did some good things!

#9 Tanzei Smart was very active in the run game. He is extremely quick and did some good things!

#10 Bruce Hector and Alexandre do a great job on the rush! Young guns getting after it!

The Jets defensive line is disruptive. They played a great game even without some outstanding players not in the lineup. They have outstanding depth and it should be a great year for them defensively !
