Duo Insert is a very good run play. It is exceptionally useful vs a team that plays a 9 technique over the TE. It allows you to block the TE solid on the 9 and get the WR or TE inside on a LB/SS. Teams have run it with 12p and used a TE and teams like the Packers and Rams do it with a WR as well. It takes advantage of your duo scheme but also angles with the 9 technique.

Duo, step inside if the player is right, try to get as many double teams as you can on the hands guys in the ground. Now, The TE 87 has the angle for the RB.
