Rams McVay Passing Game: Boot Schemes

Watched the evolution of the Rams in 2024 and they played the game differently. Had a great boot game. They run several concepts but the 2 route concepts below were the most prevelant in 2024.

The 1st route concept they will run is traditional boot. They run it out of 11P condensed to the side of the TE. They use the #1 wr as a blocker, have thte TE run the post corner. This allows the 2 WR to the top of the screen to be utilized in the passing game coming across. They bring Kupp behind the line to the flat and the other #1 wr Atwell on the drag.

The whole defense goes with the fake and it opens up the boot to Kupp out of the backfield. Love bringing the WR behind the formation, especially in condensed!
