Run Game Scheme: Creating Angles with the Colts H Wham vs the Under Front

The Colts are a very good rushing team. One of the schemes I really like is running wham vs the under front.

They have run this numerous times throughout the year. They get the under front quite a bit when the go with their TE in 12 personnel vs base defenses. They are able to run this play as a result because they can get defenses into this front.

Here is the blocking for it! It’s straight forward and takes advantage of some great angles in the run game!

The center is clean to the LB. The RG and RT are clean to the DT and De. The H has an angle on the nose. The Guard, LT and on the ball TE have great angles as well. The WR 11 has to find block on the safety.
