The Miami Dolphins Play Action Passing Attack
The Miami Dolphins are one of the best in the league at designing their play action schemes. They do it in a multiple of ways as they will often shift and motion to different formations to cause confusion. They do it off various run actions such as toss and inside run action. The best thing they do is fake run action horizontally and run crossing routes across the field the other direction, trying to get behind LB or outside them on the perimeter. They will also at times put their best player, Tyreek Hill in the backfield which can cause issues in coverage, especially if you are trying to play man to man vs it.
Let’s take a look at some of their schemes:
#1 Toss Action
They fake toss, pull the guard and run the crossing routes the other direction.

Toss Pass off Play Action #2
